Atos Origin North America relocates service desk to anticipate rapidly growing US client demand

Atos Origin Houston Service Desk, Part of Global Network
of IT Service Desks and Competency Centers, Relocates
Houston, April 26, 2007

Atos Origin, a global Systems Integrator and professional IT services company, announces the recent relocation and opening of a new 23,141 square foot Service Desk in the Southwest Corporate Center Building in southwest Houston. The Service Desk is part of a global network of IT Service Desks and Competency Centers in the world. Other major Atos Origin Service Centers are located in Brazil, the Netherlands, UK, France, Malaysia, and Poland.

Houston Service Desk employees are positioned to support the entire Atos Origin North American client base and organization and will operate the help desk for data centers worldwide. Due to rapidly growing southwest US client demand, Atos Origin anticipates the number of Service Desk employees to double before 2008. Atos Origin North America Corporate headquarters are also based in Houston, and employs an additional 70 staff.

“The Houston Service Desk team, led by Service Desk Manager Brian Robicheaux, is committed to providing continuous and integrated support for Atos Origin customers”, says Mark Cyran, Vice President of North America Managed Operations for Atos Origin. Offerings include Single Point of Contact for all IT-infrastructure and applications related matters, remote end-user support, network and server monitoring and management.

The company services clientele in the region representing most major industries, including oil & gas, healthcare, public sector, manufacturing, and process industries.
