New York, January 29, 2015
Atos, an international leader in digital services, today launched a Proof-of-Concept for the wire-free workplace, already piloted with one US major customer. The POC is built on the new 5th generation Intel® Core™ vPro™ processor family, which offers wireless innovations, built-in security, faster performance and improved manageability that will allow workers and companies to improve their productivity.
“CIOs are challenged today to provide ever-increasing innovation for end-user productivity through highly effective and secure enterprise solutions. It’s not just the tools that are changing – it’s the whole culture of work. Through joint initiatives and collaborative engagements, Atos and Intel are enabling organizations to transform the workplace”, said Andy Kelemen, Chief Technology Officer Atos North America.
Atos has strengthened its Workplace Services offering thanks to Intel® Core™ vPro™ technology and is now able to deliver end-to-end solutions, from remote management to wireless technology, while ensuring the security of any enterprise environment.
Remote management is already being delivered to existing and new customers, to enable remote IT access, improve resolve time and eliminate most dispatch costs, while keeping data and devices secure.
Wireless innovations are now ready to provide end-users with more flexibility than ever. At work or on-the-go, users are freed from connectivity limitations. They are more efficient, delighted, and focused on their tasks, which results in a more productive, efficient and secure working environment.
