The Underlying Context:
Disability and Population Aging are long term trends that cannot be ignored.
Western workforces are ageing; people are working longer so increasing numbers will need assistance coping with age related conditions such as poor vision, hearing loss, limited mobility and cognitive difficulties. There are numerous laws that are designed to protect people with disabilities.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that there are 1 Billion people living with a disability.
In 1960 there were on average about 3 youngsters for every elderly person, by 2060 there may be more than two elderly people for each youngster. (Source: Eurostat)

What is IUX?
IUX is the umbrella term we use for ALL of our activities in the various complimentary disciplines. It encompasses the core principals of Accessibility and User Experience/User Centric Design (UX /UCD).
